KUALA LUMPUR, 5 MARCH 2014 – Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMD) named Kenanga Deutsche Future

Sdn Bhd (KDF) “Top Overall Futures Broker” and “Top Equity Futures Broker” for the 11 consecutive years.
KDF accounts for about 16% of execution market share of the 10.72 million contracts traded on BMD last
year. KDF overall execution volumes stood at 3.46 million contracts, a laudable increase of 31.27% year-onyear. Their strong performance on BMD also placed them as runner up in the Crude Palm Oil Futures

These Awards recognised KDF’s consistent performance, contribution and leadership role in the derivatives
market. KDF, a joint venture between Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad and Deutsche Asia Pacific Holdings
Pte Ltd, is also a registered firm with US CFTC, granted exemption relief pursuant to Commission Regulation
30.10.
KDF’s CEO and Head of Listed Derivatives, Ms Azila A. Aziz said, “These achievements are a direct
reflection of the Firm’s ability to keep up with changing market conditions, our long term rapport with the
clients, proven track record as well as through our strategic partnership with Deutsche Asia Pacific Holdings.
Last year, KDF was also able to extend its outreach initiatives to include Russia, Korea and the United
States of America. Through these combined efforts, KDF has been able to raise the firm’s profile among
potential investors globally.

Market awareness and continuous education will be two key facets in ensuring the growth momentum of the

Malaysian listed derivatives space,” added Azila.
KDF anticipates an estimate of 13.5 million contracts to be traded with a Compound Annual Growth Rate
(CAGR) of 12% by 2015 on BMD*.
The 25th Annual Palm and Lauric Oils Conference & Exhibition 2014 (POC2014) is an annual global event
organised by Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Bhd and participated by international players from the oils and fats
industry from over 50 countries.
