Technical Product Information Beruform KFP 10 Non water miscible cold forging oil 9811302 Rev.04_20.02.2013 Description Beruform KFP 10 is a non water miscible, chlorine free cold forging oil which is used for severe forming operations. Besides polar substances the product contains combinations of active sulphur compounds and special anti-wear additives. The high level of additives guarantees extended service life of the oil in circulation systems. Properties Non water miscible cold forging oils Chlorine and heavy metal free* Cold extrusion, punching, precision/ die cutting and deep drawing of hardened and stainless steel Beruform KFP 10 is very suitable for cold extrusion, as well as punching, precision cutting and deep drawing. Good corrosion protection Beruform KFP 10 is applied manually, by drop oiler, in circulation systems or by suitable pneumatic application units on the parts to be processed. In the latter case, please observe the viscosity indications by the unit supplier. Chlorine and heavy metal free* Not suitable for non ferrous metals Beruform KFP 10 reacts with copper and is therefore not suitable for processing of non-ferrous metals. Application The formed parts can be easily cleaned with conventional solvents or in water-alkaline degreasing baths.
