E-Health Technology Assessment (e-HTA): Who is in charge of your health?”
Invitation
Since its establishment in 1968, the Kenya Medical Association holds frequent scientific
and health policy meetings with the purpose of improving health care management in
Kenya and the region. KMA together with Strathmore Business School's Institute of
Healthcare Management cordially invite you to meet and discuss with leading experts in
the field of e-health on its application and regulation in Kenya.
The discussions will center on:
• What is the status of e-health in Kenya?
• e-HTA perspectives from industry and public sector: Is there a need for e-health
regulation in Kenya?
• e-health and the changing dynamics of patient-doctor relationships:
what are the implications for healthcare delivery?
• Who is/should be in charge of e-health technology assessment?
• What are the lessons we can learn from other countries on e-HTA?
