Functional Shoulder Joint with Rotator Cuff
This five part shoulder joint model consists of the upper half of the
humerus as well as the clavicle and scapula.
Besides showing the musculature of the rotator cuff, this shoulder joint model also shows
the origin and insertion points of the shoulder muscles, highlighted in colour
(origin = red, insertion points = blue).
The following muscles can be depicted and even detached for a clearer understanding of
the shoulder joint; M. subscapularis, M. supraspinatus, M. infraspinatus and M. teres minor
Upon detaching the individual muscles, all movements of the shoulder joint can be carried
out, namely; Abduction, Adduction, Inner rotation, Outer rotation, Raising the arms to the
front of the body, Raising the arms to the back of the body, Raising the arms above the
horizontal plane and "making circles with the arms"
The shoulder joint model with rotator cuff is set up on a stand for easy display in the
classroom or doctor’s office. Measures 18 x 18 x 24cm, weighing 0.85kg.

This deluxe shoulder joint consists of shoulder blade, collar bone and upper arm stump.
These functional models are of a naturally-sized right joint with ligaments. They show the anatomy and possible
physiological movements (abductions, anteversion, retroversion and internal and external rotation) of the joint
in exceptional detail. The colour of the natural-cast bones is extremely realistic with the cartilage on the joint
surfaces marked in blue. It is mounted on a base with key card and measures 12 x 12 x 22cm, weighing 0.41kg.

Hand Skeleton Model with Ligaments and Muscles
The bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, arteries, and veins are all featured in this 4 part
model of the hand and lower forearm.
The dorsal side of the hand shows the extensor muscles and portions of the tendons at the wrist as they pass under
the extensor retunaculum. The palmar face of the hand is represented in three layers, the first two removable to
allow detailed study of the deeper anatomical layer of the hand. Important structures such as the median nerve and
superficial palmar arterial arch can be explored in detail in the hand model. The deepest anatomical layer allows for
study of the intrinsic muscles and deep palmar arterial arch in addition to other details of the anatomy of the hand.

This 3 part hand skeleton shows the anatomical detail of the ligaments and tendons found in
the hand, wrist and lower forearm.
The interosseous membrane between the radius and ulna is shown along with the bones of the hand. The flexor
retunaculum is removable from the hand skeleton. In addition there is a removable portion that can be fitted on
the back of the hand model. This portion features the clinically important structures of the carpal tunnel such as
the flexor retinaculum, mediane nerve, and tendons of the hand. Measures 30 x 40 x 10cm, weighing 0.30kg.
