INTRODUCTION
With the support of the EuroSpine Foundation, EuroSpine, the Spine Society of Europe positions itself as a major driving
force in Spine Education within Europe, acting as a reference point and resource for all Spine Societies struggling with
similar issues at local level, including Surgical Societies such as Neurosurgery, Scoliosis, Cervical but also non surgical
European Societies involved in the care of spinal disorders.
Two main objectives are defined:
- Deliver consistent educational program to future spine specialists resulting in an European Diploma
-
Deliver life long education to spine specialists that meets their appraisal needs and personal development plans
MODULE SPINAL DEFORMITIES
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Have a clear strategy of diagnostic reasoning with appropriate examination and imaging investigation
Describe and then select the most appropriate modalities in conservative and surgical care
Be aware of efficacy vs inefficacy
Understand and discuss the process of selection and exclusion of a single patient for a specific treatment
Understand and apply specific modalities to prevent complications
TARGET PARTICIPANTS
Physicians intending to acquire up-to date basic and advanced knowledge on Spinal Deformities Management.
The Diploma Course is also addressed to future spine specialists willing to participate to the 5-Modules structure of the
European Education Program

ATTENDANCE POLICY
Course attendance is mandatory for the entire Module. Attendees must be present from the start of the Module until the
end of the Module as defined in the final program and attend all parts of the program, without exceptions. Failure to
adhere to this policy will result in a non validated course module and refusal of Certificate of Attendance and CME
accreditation.
The certificate will be made available on MyESF after the course

Registrations are accepted on a first come-first served basis.

Registrations are open to spine specialists. All non-European registration will be open based on course availability
45 days prior to the start of the Education Week.

Registrations are not confirmed until payment is received.

ESF reserves the right to cancel registration if payment is not received within 24 hours of registration.

ESF reserves the right to cancel the course if sufficient registrations are not received. In the case of cancellation
for this reason, attendees are entitled to a full refund. ESF is not responsible for travel fees, or any expenses
incurred as a result of such cancellation.

Registration confirmations will be communicated as soon as the course reaches the minimum course attendance
requirement.

ESF reserves the right to change faculty & program. The latest programs will be posted on the webpage at
www.eurospinefoundation.org

Attendees grant the permission to EuroSpine Foundation to take and use pictures and films for, including but not
limited for, educational purposes, public relations, promotional pieces, written publications, videos and on the
EuroSpine Foundation's website, for an indefinite period of time. If you would like your picture removed, you may
contact the foundation's office at any time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email. The attendee is responsible for ensuring that
EuroSpine Foundation (ESF) receives the written request. ESF will reply with a written acknowledgement within
one week.

Once the attendee is registered and paid, cancellation will be accepted up to 90 (July 28 th) days prior to the Live
Education Event, reimbursed at 50% of the registration fee. Any cancellation within 90 (July 28 th) days of the start
of the Live Education Event, will not be reimbursed.

Rescheduling registration to a future course is not possible.
