Avionics Design Engineers Wanted
At Scandinavian Avionics, we are looking for a number of Design Engineers to add to our EASA
Part 21J Design team based in Billund, Denmark.
We are looking for both recently educated engineers with a degree in avionics, or experienced
engineers who in some way have knowledge and experience as a Design Engineer.
The work tasks primarily consist of designing avionics changes to aircraft and show compliance
to EASA certification requirements, like CS25.
Minimum requirements for the position:
• Knowledge of basic terms – (COM, NAV, XPDR, A429, TCAS, TAWS, heading, bearing,
gyro, HSI, ADI, CS, FAR, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand design documentation, such as installation manuals,
functional block diagrams, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, etc.
• Good PC and word/excel skills
• Good written and spoken communications skills (communication in English with hangar,
manufacturers, customers, authorities and others)
• Ability to solve problems by researching and identifying possible solutions and to collect
information from many different sources
• Ability to plan, structure and control project tasks
