Editor, People StyleWatch
Susan Kaufman was named the editor of People StyleWatch in
November 2006, prior to the magazine’s launch in January 2007.
She oversees all aspects of the celebrity fashion, beauty and
shopping magazine, which now publishes 11 issues a year.
Kaufman was named “Editor of the Year” by Advertising Age in
the “Magazine A-List” issue (October, 2010). Under Kaufman’s
leadership, People StyleWatch landed the #1 position as “Magazine
of the Year” on Advertising Age’s 2010 Magazine A-List and was
named the #8 position in 2008. In 2010, the magazine landed
the #2 spot on AdWeek Media’s Hot List for the “10 Under 60”
magazine category, and the #4 position in 2009.
A highly-regarded expert on fashion trends and celebrity style,
Kaufman regularly appears on TV programs such as Today,
Weekend Today, The View and E!. She is frequently quoted in
articles for the New York Times, USA Today, Women’s Wear Daily,
the Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times.
Kaufman joined PEOPLE in 2002 as the magazine’s first-ever style
director. Prior to joining Time Inc., she was fashion director at
Mademoiselle magazine. She has also held executive fashion
and beauty positions at Us Weekly and Glamour magazines.
Kaufman is on the Board of Reach Out and Read,
a literacy program.
A graduate of Washington University with a B.A. Cum Laude in
Art History, Kaufman also studied at universities in Perugia and
Florence, Italy. She and her husband currently reside in Manhattan.

Publisher, People StyleWatch
Stephanie Sladkus was named publisher of People StyleWatch in
October 2011. She is charged with overseeing the magazine’s
business operations including advertising and marketing initiatives.
Stephanie joined People StyleWatch in February 2010 as the
magazine’s first associate publisher, and helped lead the sales team
to a record-breaking year with a 54% increase in advertising. People
StyleWatch landed the #1 position as “Magazine of the Year” on
Advertising Age’s 2010 Magazine A-List (October, 2010), and ranked
#1 by Media Industry News in 2011 for highest number of ad pages
gained with monthly magazines (December, 2011).
Prior to StyleWatch, Stephanie was the associate publisher at Lucky
and ad director at Conde Nast’s Bridal Group. From 1999 to 2005,
she worked at TEEN PEOPLE, most recently as eastern advertising
director. She began her career in publishing at Marie Claire as an
account executive.
A graduate of University of Michigan with a B.A. in Organizational
Behavior and Human Resource Management, Stephanie currently
resides in New York City with her husband and two children.
