Larsen & Toubro, NTPC and Indian Oil Corp win PMI India Awards 2014
Hyderabad, September 11, 2014: Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading
not-for-profit professional membership association for the project management profession,
has announced Larsen & Tourbo, Indian Oil Corporation Limited and NTPC Limited as the
winners of PMI India Awards 2014. The awards were presented by Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama
Rao (KTR) - Minister of IT & Panchayat Raj, Telangana State and MLA representing Sircilla
Assembly Constituency.
PMI also announced The Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief (EFICOR) as
the winner of Project of the Year - NGO category award for their Parivartan Child Survival
Project (Parivartan CSP).
Speaking at the awards, Mr. Raj Kalady, Managing Director, PMI India said: “The recipients
of this year’s PMI awards exhibit achievements and talents of the companies and individuals
that exemplify project management excellence. By leveraging strong, standardized project
management practices, innovative ways to identify risks and overcome unexpected changes,
these companies will help characterize the importance of project management in the

About Project Management National Conference, India 2014:

development event, held at HICC, Hyderabad between September 11th and September 13th,
2014. The theme of the conference is "Project Management – the mantra for sustainable
