JAZ N TAP dueled along the inside, battled on gamely through a prolonged drive and was fully extended. BIRD TAP attended the pace four wide, loomed
boldly leaving the second turn, poked his head in front a furlong out, fought on but wasn't quite good enough. PROUD MAXX was unhurried into stride,
circled into the lane five wide and was making up ground. INCLUDE INDYCAT was close up between horses, dropped back entering the stretch, angled to
the inside and came again with a mild rally to improve position. SAINT DERMOT was allowed to settle, angled in to save ground, ranged into striking
distance on the second turn but lacked the needed late response. IL MANGIA TROPPO disputed the pace two wide, but weakened between horses and
faded. ACES HIGH broke in the air to get away well behind his field, made a sweeping move through the second turn five wide, offered a brief bid but came
up empty entering the stretch.
