2. Slide the tilt drive gear off the tilt rod (see Figure 6)
and set aside.
Realign Tilt Rod And Fabric Carriers
1. Remove the tilt rod fully (see Figure 7).
2. Slide the fabric carriers to the active end cap side(s) of
the rail (for side stack).
3. Align the tilt reduction pinion clips so that they are
parallel to the SofTrak™ rod (see Figure 9). The long
arm of the fabric carriers should face the right end of
the headrail.
NOTE: The backs of all fabric carriers must be
aligned. If a fabric carrier is not aligned, completely
rotate the pinion clip in both directions until it clicks
and realigns with the others.

5. Align the tilt rod so the half-moon side faces the front
of the headrail, then slowly push the tilt rod through
each fabric carrier and seat it in the large hole in the
opposite side end cap (see Figures 10 and 11).
CAUTION: The half-moon side must face the
front of the headrail for proper operation.
6. Align the tilt drive with the gear teeth on the tilt rod,
then slide the tilt drive gear onto the tilt rod (see
Figure 12).
7. Remove the tape, then rotate the tilt rod to check the
pinion clip alignment.

Reinstall Gears
1. Insert the shaft of the worm gear into the hole
next to the tilt drive gear. Turn the worm gear
counterclockwise so that its teeth interlock with the
teeth of the tilt drive gear (see Figure 13); turn until it
is fully seated on the active end cap (see Figure 14).
