Purpose
To supervise the Quality Assurance processes and team in
order to meet organisational objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, maintain and update ETQA policies and procedures
•
Apply and continuously improve ETQA policies and procedures
•
Conduct audits of the ETQA Quality Management System
•
Comply with requirements of the EQTA Quality Management System
•
Manage the finances of the Section
•
Assist in preparing and managing the budget of the Section
•
Monitor and control costs against the budget
•
Monitor and control risks in own work/business environment
•
Identify cost saving and cash conservation opportunities
•
Measure and monitor customer satisfaction within a business unit and
recommend corrective action
•
Liaise with a range of customers and handle and attend to a range of
customer complaints
•
Participate and interact with external stakeholders
•
Assist in developing and implementing a strategy and action plans for the
ETQA Department
•
Identify and interpret related legislation and its impact on the ETQA
Department and ensure compliance
•
Analyse qualitative and quantitative data required to inform a strategic
ETQA plan
•
Strategise, research, develop and review appropriate ETQA systems and
processes and adopt best practices
•
Manage the Quality Assurance processes and team (QCTO)
•
Coordinate Graduation ceremonies, stakeholder seminars and workshops
and Assessor/Moderator workshops
•
Draft Terms of Reference (TOR's) for services or assets required
•
Review Training Provider evaluation reports
•
Appoint external Moderators for Training Provider application audits
(induction)
•
Review Moderators Training Provider audit reports
•
Follow up on close out of audit findings
•
Conduct monitoring
accreditation
•
Review Learning Programme Evaluation (LPE) reports
•
Appoint external Moderators for Learning Programme Evaluation (LPE)
reports audits (induction)
•
Review Moderators Learning Programme Evaluation (LPE) reports audit

Follow up on close out of audit findings

Develop and maintain the Quality Management system for QCTO

Experience and Qualifications
•
Degree in Public Administration.
•
At least 5 - 10 years experience in a related role, of which 5 should have
been at a management level or experience in a functional/specialist
area.
