Norman Park Elementary – Storybook Pumpkin Contest
Moultrie, GA—November 3, 2014 – Norman Park Elementary
School is having its first ever Storybook Pumpkin contest. Each
homeroom class along with other staff members decorated
pumpkins to represent a storybook character from a favorite
children's book.
Pumpkins are on display in the media center. All proceeds will
benefit the Colquitt County United Way. Voting will take place
November 3-November 14. The homeroom pumpkin that earns
the most money will WIN!!!
Anyone may vote for their favorite storybook pumpkin by
placing change in the jug beside each pumpkin. We will take the
kind that jingles, but we like the kind that folds (Ex. $1 = 100
votes). We are encouraging everyone to vote as much as they
would like. The winning pumpkin’s class will receive a big
SURPRISE!!! We will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner.
Please pass the word and feel free to come by and see our
pumpkins and vote.
