Description
Tomato extract containing 15% lycopene as well as other natural tomato
phytonutrients (such as tocopherols, phytoene, phytofluene, beta-carotene,
phospholipids and phytosterols) extracted from lycopene rich tomatoes
and produced according to US patent No. 5,837,311, 8,460,718 and EU
patent No. 844,831.

Appearance & Odor Viscous, dark red liquid with characteristic odor.
Applications
A source of lycopene to be used in dietary supplements.
Certifications
ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 (HACCP) certificates, Israeli Ministry of
Health GMP permit, Kosher certification by the Orthodox Union (OU)
and Halal certification.
Regulatory Status
The active ingredient is Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS), in
conformance with US regulatory requirements and as a color additive in the
United States (21 CFR 73.585) . Approved as food color and for use in
Dietary Supplements in EU. Approved as food colorant for use in Dietary
Supplements and for food fortification in Japan.
All ingredients are food-grade materials approved by USFDA,
European and Israeli Authorities and are non GMO. This product does
not contain any animal based ingredients and is therefore suitable for
vegetarians.
Stability & Storage Stable for five years when stored dry at Room Temperature (~25oC) in
the original packaging. An opened package should be used as soon as
possible.
