Välinge Innovation pioneered the concept of glue-free floorings in 1994 and changed the
way people install and use floorings.
The company’s world-wide patented technology introduced a fast and easy way of installing floorboards
mechanically, without using glue. The technology base has since, gradually been extended and comprises
now many different technology fields related to laminate, wood, LVT and the new flooring category, nadura.

Locking Technology
Välinge offers a wide range of locking technologies, from basic locking systems to the
5G fold down systems, all related to the wide range of floor products such as wood,
laminate, LVT/resilient and nadura.
Välinge’s 2G locking system is one of the most
used and appreciated systems in the world. The
2G system is suitable for most materials used for
flooring, such as engineered wood with lamella core
or plywood core, solid wood, laminate with HDF or
MDF core, vinyl and many other core materials.

A range of angling and fold down locking systems
have been specifically developed and optimized in
order to offer an outstanding pulling strength for
LVT/resilient materials. Those locking profiles can
be adjusted for materials down to 3mm thickness
and with 5G, down to 4mm thickness.
The 5G locking technology is the most advanced
type of Fold Down system on the market. All 5G
systems developed by Välinge are based on
the single action method for a fast and easy
installation. With its unchallenged ease of
installation 5G locking systems have become the
new standard locking system on the market.

Improve floor installation by minimizing tolerances
during profiling, using HPP (High Precision
Profiling), and increase run time on fine cutters at
the same time.

With its wide portfolio of locking technologies, Välinge is able to offer a locking system
suitable for each type of flooring, material, width and optimized for a wide range of floor
board thicknesses.

Välinge Supply
Välinge does not only offer technology licenses, but also supply customers with 5G plastic tongues and 5G
insertion machines. By consolidated procurement, our licensee’s benefits from large scale production of
the 5G tongues. Välinge is today supplying the market with tongues at a lower price versus if each licensee
should handle the purchase on their own.
5G tongue insertion machines supplied by Välinge can handle up to 160 pieces per minute and is capable to
insert any length available among the 5G tongues.
The insertion machine can be placed on a X-Y motor table or on the DET foundation.
Surface Technology

surface technology is ideal for any design style or in a cost saving project. The surface technology is
extremely versatile and stretches from nadura and Powder technology to ACTiO2 and digital solutions.
Välinge surface comprises flooring, wall and furniture panels. The versatility of the Välinge surface
technologies extends all the way to core materials as it is suitable for HDF, plywood and chipboards and
more.

Using Välinge’s revolutionary Wood Powder Technology,
nadura opens up a new era in the world of flooring. The solid
wood powder top layer holds outstanding impact resistance,
extreme wear resistance as well as possibilities with unique
designs.
Välinge Powder technology opens up for new cost
saving opportunities, design freedom and improved
performance for laminate and veneer flooring.
Considerable cost reduction can be achieved by
replacing the traditional balancing layer such as paper
backing with wood powder.
Välinge holds the world’s first nadura powder mixing station.
Here, nadura powder is mixed, the quality is secured and
material is shipped to nadura producers.
DIGITAL
SOLUTIONS
Time to market for new products can be substantially
improved with Välinge digital solutions. It offers a full
scope flexible digital printing platform, ranging from
decor to final print. For the first time it is now possible
to print commercially competitive print solutions even
for high volume printing in flooring, due to the synergies
obtained between Välinge Powder Tech and Välinge Digital
solutions. Välinge printers are based on state of the art print
technologies, specifically engineered for harsh and dusty
environments and heavy pigment loaded inks.

ACTiO2 is a photocatalytic additive that can be
applied on wood, laminate, resilient, nadura and
other surfaces.
When exposed to light, the surface becomes active
and contributes to break down hazardous substances,
unpleasant odours and assists in decomposing
bacteria and fungi. The ACTiO2 technology efficiently
contributes to create a clearer and healthier indoor
environment.
