The season for our Basketball and Futsal teams begins November 1st, 2014, and we are excited to
begin training your children for the upcoming Kanto Plains League season.
バスケットボールとフットサルのシーズンが 2014 年 11 月 1 日から開始します。来たる関東プレ
ーンリーグ戦に向けてのトレーニングが今から楽しみです。
The league play runs from November 1st, 2014 until February 14th, 2015.
このリーグ戦は今年 11 月 1 日から来年 2 月 14 日まで続きます。
As you may have heard, A-JIS is changing the format of our extracurricular offerings from January
2015 onward. We are introducing a new activities and sports program, AJE Afternoons, that will run
Monday to Friday from 3:45 to 5:45 for the entire school year.
お聞きおよびのとおり、A-JIS では課外活動の体制を 2015 年 1 月から改変します。AJE アフタヌー
ンという、新たなアクティビティーとスポーツを導入したプログラムを月曜から金曜の 3 時 45 分

Daily, your children will be guaranteed a high level of instruction and coaching in Arts, Sports,
Academics, and much more. We are really excited about seeing your children participate and
achieve things they’ve not yet been able to.

In the meantime, from November to the end of 2014, we would like to make sure that your children
are able to participate in formal league sports. Two really important seasons begin now: Boys
Basketball and Girls Futsal. The kids are excited to start. And so, we will.

Since the AJE Afternoon Program starting in January will require professional instruction and coaching
in all areas, we have decided to hire professional coaches in soccer and basketball to start right now.

Tyler Fedak will be the Jaguars Basketball Coach. Mr. Fedak was trained and certified as a USA
Basketball Coach in 2001. He has since been involved in the creation of education programs for

ジャガーズバスケットボールのコーチにはタイラー・フェダック氏が就任いします。フェダック
氏は 2001 年に USA バスケットコーチとしてトレーニングを積んで資格を取得し、その後カナダ
と中国で青少年と大人向けの教育プログラムの作成に関わってきました。フェダック氏は当校の
男子バスケットボールチームを関東プレーンリーグやその他でも通用する強く、高い競争力を備
えたチームへと育ててくれるでしょう。
Nicolas Dhuez will be the Jaguars Soccer Coach. Mr. Dhuez is a certified soccer couch in Japan. He
has lived in Japan for a decade and has run two Tokyo community soccer leagues: FC Chiyoda and
FC Nomade. Mr. Dhuez has led kids and youth teams to numerous championships during this time.
Mr. Dhuez is also a former professional soccer player and member of the under 21 French National
team. He will help us lead our Jaguars soccer teams to the same success, starting with the girls Futsal.

持ったサッカーコーチです。彼は日本に 10 年間在住し、都内で 2 つのコミュニティーサッカーリ

We hope your children can participate. The fees for both the girls Futsal and boys Basketball are Y10,
000. This fee covers all costs from November 1st, 2014 to February 14th, 2015. This fee covers the
cost of instruction, uniforms, travel, and competition.

Jaguars Sports: MS Boys Basketball
Introduction: We are all Jaguars!
A-JIS Jaguars basketball for the season of 2014-2015 will see a new approach to the competitive
sports program at A-JIS. Our goal is to ensure our students a have the opportunity experience
professional level training and well coordinated competitive challenges locally, regionally, and
ultimately internationally.
Coach Tyler Fedak
From October 31st, 2014, A-JIS faculty will guide the A-JIS Basketball program together with new head
coach Tyler Fedak. From Fresno, California, Coach Fedak comes from both a background in
international education and dedicated history as a player from kindergarten to college, and following
that as a USA Basketball U18 coach sanctioned by both the NBA and FIBA. During his tenure with
the Fresno Rams (currently ranked #2 in the USA) and in the NCAA, Tyler has played together with
the likes of Rafer Alston who went on to play with the Houston Rockets from 2005. He is proud to
have played pickup ball with Kobe Bryant and Chris Mullins on the Newport Beach courts. Coach
Fedak has a passion for the sport, is a skilled player, and he intends to take our boys as far as they can
go!
