Objectives
This seminar will focus on the quality of neonatal nursing care delivery including what is being delivered as well as how
this can be monitored. Developmental care will be a prime focus and will include several presentations on what this means to an infant as well as the challenges this presents to the professionals. Evidence for practice will be visited and will
concentrate on some hot topics as well as professional nursing issues. Case studies will also be discussed which will help
illuminate some of the present issues faced by neonatal staff in today’s technological age. With the discreet size of
the group allowing for interaction to take place and enable learning.
