Coprésidente de Groupe Germain Hospitalité,
Christiane est l’âme derrière le concept expérientiel des
établissements Germain. Elle dirige en outre les
opérations de tous les hôtels répartis sous les bannières
Hôtels-boutique Le Germain et Hôtels ALT.
Dynamique, tenace et inventive, Christiane a fait sa
marque dans le secteur de la restauration et de
l’hôtellerie.
Co-president of Groupe Germain Hospitalité, Christiane is
the soul behind the experiential concept at Germain
establishments. She is also in charge of operations for all
hotels under the Le Germain Boutique-hotels banner and
the ALT Hotel banner. Dynamic, tenacious and inventive,
Christiane has made her mark in the restaurant and hotel
industries.
En 2012, elle a reçu un doctorat honorifique de
l’Université Ryerson et elle a été nommée Chevalière de
l’ordre national du Québec en 2009. En plus de présider
aux destinées d’une entreprise en pleine croissance,
Christiane Germain siège à plusieurs conseils
d’administration et se consacre à de nombreuses
oeuvres caritatives au sein de sa collectivité.
In 2012, she was named an Honorary Doctor of Commerce
by Ryerson University and was awarded the insignia of a
Knight of the Ordre national du Québec in 2009. In
addition to presiding over the destiny of a growing
business, Christiane Germain sits on several boards of
directors and dedicates her time to numerous charities in
the community.

Formé à l’Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec
(ITHQ), Jean-Yves est coprésident de Groupe Germain
Hospitalité. Doué d’un sens aigu des affaires, il oriente
le développement, orchestre le financement et supervise
la construction des projets hôteliers répartis sous les
bannières Hôtels-boutique Le Germain et Hôtels ALT.
Trained at the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du
Québec (ITHQ), Jean-Yves is co-president of Groupe
Germain Hospitalité. Gifted with a keen business sense, he
is in charge of development, orchestrates financing and
supervises the construction of Le Germain Boutiquehotels
and ALT Hotels.
Jean-Yves a amorcé sa carrière en restauration. C’est
d’abord dans ce domaine qu’il s’est fait la main aux
montages financiers. Depuis, il est passé maître en
matière de structuration de fonds d’investissement et de
stratégies de financement pour les développements
hôteliers de l’entreprise. Groupe Germain Hospitalité,
dont il dirige les finances d’une main de fer, lui doit
d’ailleurs sa santé économique et financière ainsi que
son classement parmi les 50 sociétés les mieux gérées au
Canada.
Jean-Yves began his career in the restaurant industry. It was
here where he first tried his hand at raising capital. Since
then, he has mastered the structuration of investment funds
and financial strategies for the company’s hotel
developments. Groupe Germain Hospitalité, whose
finances he runs with an iron fist, is ranked among the 50
Best Managed Companies in Canada thanks to its economic
and financial health.
Parallèlement à sa carrière d’hôtelier, Jean-Yves est
président de Casot Limitée, une entreprise basée à
Québec qui possède et gère de nombreux édifices
commerciaux et résidentiels. Il est également membre
de divers conseils d’administration et se consacre à
plusieurs oeuvres caritatives au sein de la collectivité.
Alongside his career as an hotelier, Jean-Yves is president of
Casot Limited, a company based in Québec City that owns
and operates a number of commercial and residential
properties. He also sits on a number of boards of directors
and is dedicated to several charities in the community.
