The water depth of the competition course is 6 to 5 ½ feet measured from one (1) meter to five (5) meters at the starting end of the course and 4-‐ 4 ½ feet measured from one (1) meter to five (5) meters at the turn end of the course. The pool is equipped lane lines and starting blocks. Colorado Dolphin Wireless Timing System will be used (3 wireless watches per lane, no touch pads). The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). Spectator Seating: Approximately 30 chairs provided for on deck seating. Spectators may bring folding chairs for seating as well. Only meet volunteers, USA Swimming registered athletes, and current USA Swimming registered officials and coaches are allowed behind the starting blocks. Rules: Meet to be conducted in accordance with the current USA Swimming and SC Swimming Rules and Regulations and information herein. Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is strongly discouraged in changing areas, rest rooms, and locker rooms. Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is strongly discouraged. Athlete Eligibility: Closed meet for USA Swimming member of the LTP, Fins Swim Team, CAC or the Hilton Head Aquatics. Age is determined by the first day of the meet. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. Entry Fees: $5.00 Meet Entry Fee $16.00 Pool Fee $2.00 State Travel Fund/Program Fee $2.00 SCLSC Sports Development Fee Late entries will double the entry fee Time Trials Fee-‐ $7.00 per time trial (Time trials conducted per meet director’s discretion) ENTRY LIMIT: Each swimmer may compete in up to five (5) individual events. Age of athlete is determined the first day of the meet. Meet Format: All events are Timed Finals. WARM-‐UP/WARM-‐DOWN: The competition pool will be open for warm-‐up/warm-‐down during two 10 minute breaks scheduled to take place after Event 16 and Event 32. Timing: A Colorado Timing Semi-‐Automatic Timing System will be used. Timing Services provided by Sports Timing & Software Inc. Coaches Eligibility: Coaches must be members of USA Swimming and the must have their credentials visible at all times. Other Information: Officials from other teams are welcomed and encouraged to volunteer to work the meet. Timers from other teams are welcomed and encouraged to volunteer to work the meet. CONCESSIONS: A concession stand will be selling heat sheets and drinks/food. PARKING: There is adjacent parking to the pool.
