Vide reference (1) above the Standard rake size/Minimum number of BTPN wagons to be loaded
for availing trainload benefit had been revised from 49/47 to 50/48 wagons till 31/03/2013 and
from 50/48 to 50/49 wagons w.e.f. 01/04/2013.
Vide reference (2) above, the list of siding unfit to handle 50 BTPN wagons was issued and these
siding were exempt from Corrigendum 35 to Rates Circular 62 of 2009 till 31.03.2014.
In supersession of Board's letter referred (2) above the matter has been examined. There
remain three loading and seventeen unloading sidin~which are unfit to handle rakes of 50 BTPN
wagons (list enclosed). These sidings shall continue to be exempt from the corrigendum NO.35 to
Rate Circular No.62/2009 till 31/03/2015.
Oil companies are advised to expedite the arrangements
for enabling these sidings to handle 50
BTPN wagons rakes by 31/03/2015.
Zonal Railways are requested to send the feedback on the joint inspections undertaken
oil companies to Railway Board.
