Sight reading will be an important component of the audition and may include the

a) Other selections from the standard repertoire not listed above;
b) Sight reading from other works.

5) The use of a rotary trumpet is not required to audition successfully for this position.
However, the winning candidate will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the use of
rotary trumpet(s) in order to successfully complete his or her probationary period.
