Testimony: The scripture, “Behold, I make all things new (Rev. 21:5),” reflects the conversion of heart
that Kathleen had in 1990 when she resumed praying the rosary in a Marian cenacle and subsequently
traveled to France to visit Catholic shrines in Lourdes, Paris, Ars, and Paray-le-Monial. A cradle
Catholic, she rediscovered the beauty of Catholicism after a seven-year period of mediocrity in the
practice of the faith. At Lourdes, through Mary’s intercession, she experienced the Lord in an
unprecedented personal way that drew her to daily Mass and adoration. The fruit of her intense
Eucharistic life is seen in tireless service to the Church.
In 1992, at a conference, a priest prayed with her for the grace of baptism in the Spirit and she
experienced a personal Pentecost. Her prayer life deepened as she took up the study of the faith and
was called to serve in the apostolate.
Kathleen has been in leadership for Magnificat, A Ministry to Catholic Women for twentythree years. A private association of the lay faithful based on the Visitation Scene (Luke 1:46-55),
Magnificat evangelizes women through personal testimony at Prayer Breakfasts, Retreats, and
Conferences throughout 80+ international chapters. Kathleen has served at every level of leadership in
Magnificat (diocesan, regional, international). Currently she serves on the Central Service Team
Advisor Team. She has spoken throughout Magnificat chapters and her testimony is aired on EWTN’s
Magnificat Proclaims.
In 1991, Kathleen’s family was suddenly traumatized by a most heinous crime against a family
member. This cross nearly crushed the family completely. This open wound brought them to complete
dependence upon God for healing. The healing process came through the Eucharist.
In gratitude for the Eucharist that carried her family through tumultuous years, Kathleen wrote
Rekindle Eucharistic Amazement: Healing and Holiness through the Eucharist, based on Pope John
Paul II’s encyclical, Ecclesia de Eucharistia. Formed by Blessed John Paul II’s teachings, Kathleen
was privileged to see him on several occasions when in Rome for the apostolate.
Having trained at annual conferences since 2007 at Mundelein Seminary, Chicago, Kathleen
networks with priests, exorcists, and mental health professionals in the ministry of healing, deliverance
and exorcism. In 2014, she was invited to serve on the faculty of the Pope Leo XIII Institute at
Mundelein Seminary in the capacity of a spiritual director and facilitator for the formation of priests in
the ministry of deliverance and exorcism. Kathleen has addressed national, international seminaries in
Malta, Ireland, St. Louis, San Francisco and Chicago on the interior formation of priests.
In 2012, when the national priest director of Radio Maria invited Kathleen to host a radio
program entitled, Living Eucharist, she was honored to share the faith with the global family of Radio
Maria. Kathleen interviews bishops, priests, leaders in the church on various topics of faith and culture.
In 2013, while on a retreat in the Holy Land, a priest who works in Rome presented Kathleen
with the Congregation for the Clergy’s Eucharistic Adoration for the Sanctification of Priests and
Spiritual Maternity. After receiving inspiration at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, she wrote a letter
to the Congregation proposing to enlist a team of priests and laity to create an apostolate promoting the
Congregation’s blueprint of Eucharistic Adoration for the Sanctification of Priests and Spiritual
Maternity. Kathleen received a written response from Cardinal Piacenza in May of 2013 assigning a
protocol number. The Cardinal Prefect graciously conveyed not only his approval but also his
encouragement. A team of priests and laity with episcopal advisors has been formed. Coinciding with
the launch of the Apostolate of Prayer for Priests is the debut of the website
www.prayerforpriests.org and the release of the book Praying for Priests: A Mission for the New
Evangelization by Kathleen, available from Sophia Institute Press, September 2014.
