RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Tournament is open to Tamil Nadu Players only.
The tournament will be played as per latest FIDE rapid rules with
Swiss system.
Time control will be each 30 minutes (1 hour per round).
The first round will commence at 11 am on 02.08.2014 and the
number of rounds and round-swise schedule will be informed at
the tournament venue.
TNSCA registration is compulsory for all the participants. The
registration fee is Rs.100/- for the year 2014-2015. Players
registering with TNSCA should submit duly filled and signed
TNSCA player's Registration form along with a copy of their
Date of Birth Certificate and one Passport Size Photograph.
Entries received after the last date 30.07.2014 will be subject
to a late fee of Rs. 100/- per player. No entry will be
entertained after 31.07.2014.
Players are requested to bring their own International chess
set (and chess clock if any).
Tie-Break: Buchholz tie-break system will be applied.
The Arbiters' decisions' shall be Final and Binding on all
players concerned.
The TNSCA/Karur DCA/ organiser Kamaraj Memorial Chess
Club reserve the right to admit/refuse any entry without
assigning any reason thereof.
The TNSCA/Karur DCA/ organiser Kamaraj Memorial Chess
Club reserve the rights of admission to the venue and lodging
Place.
Free Dormitory type of Lodging will be given to outstation
players at the venue itself. Players are requested to bring their
own beddings.
