Duties • Review and Inspect permit applications circulated by NWB and NIRB for Kivalliq Region • Interact with NWB, NIRB, GN and Federal processes involving water and environmental screening and review ! Research and acquire environmental, water monitoring, contaminants, land use impacts, and Inuit Traditional Knowledge data and studies ! Provide support, advice and assistance in technical planning, organization, analysis, review, and sampling, for water and environmental issues ! Travel Required as needed Qualifications ! Bachelor’s degree in Science ! Experience and/or education in: ! Environmental Studies ! Water resources ! Marine ecosystems ! Contaminates/Pollution ! Control Specialist ! Advanced computer literacy !
