The following Installation Permit (IP), Operating Permit Renewals (OPR), Synthetic Minor Source Operating Permits (SYN),
and IP Modification (IPM) applications have been received by the Allegheny County Health Department. Copies are open for
public inspection at 301 39th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201-1911 [412-578-8115]. Written comments may be submitted to the
Department at the same address within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice or by e-mail at
[email protected]. The Department may conduct a hearing in response to any given comments. Commenters will be
notified in writing of the time and place if a hearing is held. Also where indicated, this is notice of final action by the
Department of issuance, amendment, renewal, or denial of the subject permit. Appeals to final actions may be filed in
accordance with Article XI of the County Health Department Regulations and the Pa. Local Agency Law, 2 Pa. C.S.A. 101 et
seq., 551 et seq., & 751 et seq., within 10 days of the date of publication of this notice to the Director, Allegheny County
Health Department, 955 Rivermont Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15207.

MCCANDLESS TWP SANITARY AUTHORITY – LONGVUE1 (0885-I001), 1275 Hazlett Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15137 for the
installation of one (1) diesel fired emergency generator to be enrolled in the ELRP program. The potential emissions from the
installation will include 0.1 tons/year for particulate matter; 0.1 tons/year for PM-10; 4.49 tons/year for NOx; 1.0 tons/year for
CO; 0.0002 tons/year for SO2, 0.13 tons/year for VOC, and 0.005 tons/year of HAPs.
MCCANDLESS TWP SANITARY AUTHORITY – PINE CREEK STP (0886-I001), 2160 Wildwood Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044
for the installation of one (1) diesel fired emergency generator to be enrolled in the ELRP program. The potential emissions
from the installation will include 0.2 tons/year for particulate matter; 0.2 tons/year for PM-10; 5.7 tons/year for NOx; 1.3
tons/year for CO; 0.0003 tons/year for SO2, 0.2 tons/year for VOC, and 0.01 tons/year of HAPs.
NAPPIE’S FOOD SERVICE (0887-I001), 8051 Steubenville Pike, Oakdale, PA 15071 for the installation of one (1) diesel fired
emergency generator to be enrolled in the ELRP program. The potential emissions from the installation will include 0.01
tons/year for particulate matter; 0.01 tons/year for PM-10; 1.39 tons/year for NOx; 1.4 tons/year for CO; 0.0002 tons/year for
SO2, 0.01 tons/year for VOC, and 0.005 tons/year of HAPs.
EQUITRANS,L.P. – TEPE STATION (0862-i003), 2461 Ridge Road, Jefferson Hills, PA 15132-1511 for the installation of a 70
kW (115 hp) natural gas powered emergency generator to replace an existing emergency generator that is no longer
functioning and beyond repair. The potential emissions increases from this installation are 0.003 tons per year of NOx and
0.058 tons per year of VOCs.

operation of a hot mix asphalt plant and associated equipment. The plant is a synthetic minor for nitrogen oxides (NOx) and
carbon monoxide (CO). It is a minor source for all other criteria pollutants and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).
THE LANE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY – MCKEES ROCKS PLANT (0071), Foot and Robb Streets, McKees Rocks, PA
15136 for the operation of a hot mix asphalt plant and associated equipment. The plant is a synthetic minor for carbon
monoxide (CO). It is a minor source for all other criteria pollutants and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).

operation of a hot mix asphalt plant and associated equipment. The plant is a synthetic minor for nitrogen oxides (NOx) and
carbon monoxide (CO). It is a minor source for all other criteria pollutants and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).

of a minor source operating permit. The permittee operates a crematory at this site. The facility is a minor source of all the
criteria pollutants and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).

15206 for the renewal of a minor source operating permit. The facility is a hospital and operates three (3) boilers, four (4)
emergency generators, two (2) cooling towers and eight (8) underground fuel tanks. The facility is a minor source of all the
criteria pollutants and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).
PORT AUTHORITY OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY – COLLIER GARAGE (0343), 1098 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017
for the renewal of a minor source operating permit. The facility is a bus maintenance and staging garage and operates one (1)
surface coating area, five (5) large heaters, eight (8) parts washers, one (1) paint gun cleaner, one (1) emergency generator,
and eight (8) storage tanks. The facility is a minor source of all the criteria pollutants and hazardous air pollutants (HAPS).
