These products are designed for aesthetically demanding interiors equipped either in a modern or classical style. 9 ecosun Ecosun high-temperature radiant panels The current Ecosun S+ version of our high temperature panels are the result of 20 years of continuous product development and improvement. Ecosun high temperature radiant panels are intended primarily for the heating of industrial, storage and architectural buildings. Although they can be used within any building with a ceiling height between 5–10 meters. Apart from our standard highly durable white surface finish, we can offer panels manufactured from Anticor corrosion resistant steel which are intended for heating environments subject to extreme conditions of high salinity and humidity. 10 The Ecosun terrace heater is a non-glare infrared heater constructed from a powder coated black profile, its modern clean and elegant, design allows it to be fitted in a multitude of domestic or commercial environments where heat is required without the glare. Ideal for: patios and terraces, pub gardens and courtyards, office and reception areas, conservatories, studios, churches, hospitals, schools and colleges, sports halls, shops, zoos and many more. 11 ecofilm Ecofilm F Ecofilm heating films use state of the art technology and are primarily used for heating large surfaces – aparments and community buildings, extensively in low energy houses. These heating systems are composed of laminated polyester films with a graphite coating, supply leads and accessories. Their primary use is in the installation of wood and laminate floors, however they can also be installed under certain types of PVC coverings and carpets. Ecofilm C Another widespread use of heating films is their installation within ceiling constructions, particularly their installation behind plasterboard. Using this type of installation, the radiant effect of the heating is achieved but in this case, the large-area heating emitter is the ceiling surface itself. This option is very beneficial particularly in loft conversions, but it is also used widely in rooms which are equipped with heavy, robust furniture and thick carpets where the use of floor heating could be problematic. 13 ecofilm Ecofilm MHF The use of Ecofilm heating films is not limited only to radiant space heating. Products are also available for demisting of mirrors in bathrooms (MHF) where the film, which is equipped with a self-adhesive layer, is simply attached to the rear side of the mirror and connected electrically to the lighting circuit. Ultratherm Similar products to those described above are also widely used for the heating of terrariums, vivariums, and the care of other animals and pets. 14 Ecofilm Set With regard to the ever-increasing interest in ECOFILM element and their ease of installation in floating floors, ECOFILM sets provide the perfect solution. These sets contain a pre-determined length of film equipped with supply leads and ready for installation. The length of the heating film can be if necessary be altered by the installer in accordance with the enclosed instructions. 15 ecofloor Ecofloor – floor heating systems 16 Electric floor heating is one of the most widely used ways of using electric heating cables. Resistance heating cables are ideal for these applications as far as the price, usable properties and functionality of the system are concerned. Direct-heating systems is the most widespread means of application. It is used both for primary heating systems and comfort floor heating systems. An advantage of this system is its easy installation, flexibility and somewhat more economical operation – the average floor temperature is lower than in the case of semi-storage and storage systems. As with our other radiant systems, ECOFLOOR cables and mats are very popular for the heating of low energy houses. Ecofloor heating cabel circuit is a cable shortened to a certain length, fitted with an end and supply cables. Ecofloor heating mat is a heating circuit fixed into loops with regular sparing onto fabric. An installation of such system is becoming very easy. Three types of mats are offered: Mat with two double sided tapes for affixing to the floor. Self-adhesive heating mat with a self-adhering mesh. Ultra thin mat with a very thin cable of 2.4–2.7 mm. KITS FOR DO-IT-YOURSELF INSTALLATION have been designed for those users who do not want a complete electrical heating systems but a comfortable, warm floor in a specific area. The kits include everything needed to install the floor heating system. 17 ecofloor Ecofloor for outdoor applications 18 In winter months, serious injury can occur from the formation of ice on work platforms in warehouse loading bays or on entrance walkways to busy public buildings etc. This potential hazard can easily be minimised by installing an ice prevention system. In case of snow fall, an ice prevention system will quickly melt any snow that falls providing clear access for pedestrians and vehicles on pavements and drives. Ecofloor cables and mats ensure ramps; driveways and pavements are maintenance-free and safe for use. S-MAT – the heated rubber mat is intended mainly for entry cleaning zones in shops and shopping centres but can be used anywhere during winter periods where protection is required. Ecofloor systems are also used for the protection of pipes or pipelines against frost and gutters and eaves troughs de-icing. D-MAT heating sheets are intended for outdoor use as anti-freeze protection in industrial applications and in the building industry. 19 ecofloor 20 Ecofloor for special applications AL MAT heating mats are intended for use under laminate and floating wooden floors in so-called moist areas – in bathrooms and shower rooms. AL MATS are a combination of heating cable encased in an aluminium foil. The aluminium layer above the heating cable acts as a heat dispersion medium and earthing grid making the product suitable for use in moist areas like bathrooms or shower rooms where Ecofilm foils should not be used. W-MAT only for heating where really needed. Heated mats are intended for use in protecting workers against cold emanating from floors – most often in industrial workplaces, where the character of activities taking place involves employees spending long periods in small and limited areas. HEAT-PAK STARLON F-BOARD The running cost associated with underfloor heating can be directly related to floor heat-up times. A high quality thermal insulation barrier will significantly slow the process of heat losses into the subfloor, improve performance and reduce the initial warm-up time therefore reducing the energy consumption. HEAT-PAK underlays, which enable the installation of ECOFILM foils under a carpet or PVC, are available. floor insulation and underlays Floor insulation and underlays 21 control system 22 Controls for electric heating Quality control is important for every heating system; however, it is of key importance for electric heating – and despite that, it is often underestimated. Control has a very important influence not only on the parameters and on the comfort of heating, but mainly on its operating costs. These products combine within themselves the advantages of two different systems – infrared radiant heating (radiant heat, more economical operation, even distribution of temperatures, pleasant microclimnate) and convection heating (great dynamics, advantageous price/performance ratio). ecoflex Radiant convection heaters 23 fenix holding HEADQUARTERS FENIX GROUP a.s.
