For adult use only. Keep out of reach of children.
The steriliser contains boiling water during use. DO NOT touch any hot surfaces or the
steam emitting from the vent.
Use only on a hard, flat, stable surface. DO NOT place the steriliser on or near a hot gas
or electric burner, or on top of any other electrical appliances.
The steriliser is fitted with a cable that has a cord band which should be used to tie any
excess cable together. NEVER leave excess cable loose on work surfaces, especially
when children are present.
If the supply cable or unit is damaged, do not use it. Contact the Kogan customer
support team immediately for advice.
Unplug the steriliser from the power socket under the following conditions: no water in
the unit, unit is being filled with water, unit is not in use, unit is being moved or unit is
being cleaned.
DO NOT immerse the base unit in water or any other liquids.
For home use only. Not suitable for outdoor use.
Usage Instructions
Sterilise
1.
Before placing the bottles and accessories (teats, caps etc.)
into the steriliser, they must all be washed and thorough rinsed
in fresh water, then emptied.
2. Remove the Bottle Container from the Base unit, then place the
bottles inside UPSIDE DOWN. This is important so that the
steam can enter the bottles easily.
3. Place the accessories into the Accessory Grid, then cover with
the lid. Fill the Measuring Cup to the top of the marked line with
90ml of fresh water, then pour into the Base Heating Element.
• DO NOT EXCEED OR REDUCE THE VOLUME OF WATER.
• DO NOT PUT THE ACCESSORY GRID IN UPSIDE DOWN.
DO NOT TAKE THE GRID OUT OF THE CONTAINER.
4. Assemble the unit parts, then place on the Base Heating
Element.

5. Plug the unit in to the power socket. It will automatically be on and in standby mode,
with the LCD screen displaying “00”.
6. Press “Function” ONCE. The indicator light for “Sterilise” will flash for 5 seconds, then the
unit will automatically sterilise the contents.
7. The whole process of sterilisation lasts for 15 minutes, with the LCD screen performing
the countdown. Once completed, the unit will remain in standby mode with the light off
and the LCD screen displaying “00”.
• DO NOT OPEN THE LID OR TOUCH THE SURFACE IMMEDATELY AFTER FINISHING
STERILISATION.
8. If the sterilised bottles and accessories (teats, caps etc.) are not used within 24 hours,
please re-sterilise them again.
9. Please re-fill with 90ml of fresh water if you will be using the unit again. Do not reuse
water.

Place the accessories into the Accessory Grid and cover with the lid. Fill the measuring
cup to the top of the marked line with 270ml of fresh water, then pour into the Base
Heating Element.

• DO NOT PUT THE ACCESSORY GRID UPSIDE DOWN. DO NOT TAKE THE GRID OUT
OF THE CONTAINER.
Assemble the unit parts and place on the Base Heating Element.
Plug the unit in to the power socket. It will automatically be on and in standby mode,
with the LCD screen displaying “00”.
Press “Function” TWICE. The indicator light for “Cycle” will flash for 5 seconds and the
LCD screen will display “6h”, which means that the default sterilisation time is set for 6
hours. Press the “Time” button ONCE and the screen will display “12h”, which means the
time has now been set for 12 hours. The unit will then automatically sterilise circularly.
The indicator light for “Cycle” will remain lit.
The unit will automatically run the sterilisation process every 6 or 12 hours (depending on
the time you have set), for a total of 4 times at the most. If you need to cancel this, press
the “Off” button.
Upon finishing the whole cycle sterilisation process, the steriliser will be OFF and in
standby mode, with the light off and the LCD screen indicating “00”.

According to different times required to cook different foods, different volumes of fresh
water should be filled by the measuring cup and poured into the Base Heating Element:
• One cup of fresh water (90ml) for cooking times under 15 minutes.
• Two cups (180ml) for cooking times between 15-30 minutes.
• Three cups (270ml) for cooking times between 30-45 minutes.
• Four cups (360ml) for cooking times longer than 45 minutes.
Place the food onto the cooking grid, then place the Accessory Grid and cover with the
lid. Pour the correct amount of water into the Base Heating Element.
• DO NOT EXCEED OR REDUCE THE VOLUME OF WATER.
• DO NOT PUT THE ACCESSORY GRID IN UPSIDE DOWN.
Assemble the unit parts and place them on the Base Heating Element.
Plug the unit in to the power socket. It will automatically be on and in standby mode,
with the LCD screen displaying “00”.
Press “Function” THREE times. The indicator light for “Cook” will blink for 5 seconds, then
the unit will start cooking. The initial cooking time will be 10 minutes, however this can be

changed. While the cooking time is under 15 minutes, pressing “Time” will add 1 minute to
the cooking time. When the cooking time is higher than 15 minutes, pressing “Tim” will
add 5 minutes to the cooking time. The maximum cooking time you can set is 60
minutes.
6. During the whole process of cooking, the indicator light will remain lit and the time left
will be displayed on the LCD screen. Once cooking has completed, the indicator light will
go out, the unit will be in standby mode and the LCD screen will display “00”.
Maintenance

Please clean the heating element regularly.
Unplug the unit from the mains supply before cleaning.
The base unit must not be immersed in water.
Do not use abrasive chemicals on any part of the warmer.
Do not use proprietary kettle de-scalers to clean the heating element.
Cleaning the base heating element

Lime-scale build up may affect the function and performance of the steriliser. The heating
element should be wiped clean of any deposits left by water as soon as they are visible.
Scale residue can be removed with a solution of 50ml white vinegar in the heating
element for 30 minutes. Assemble the unit as normal and complete a full sterilisation
cycle (WITHOUT BOTTLES). Follow this with two further cycles using fresh water (again
without bottles) to rinse. Then wipe the heating element with a damp cloth.
DO NOT immerse the base unit in water.
Cleaning of the Main Body and Bottle Container

After unplugging the unit from the mains supply, the body can be wiped down with a
soft, damp, non-abrasive cloth. The bottle container, accessory holder and lid can be
washed in warm soapy water, then thoroughly rinsed in clean water.
If water starts leaking from the base of the unit, unplug it immediately and contact the
Kogan customer support team.
