Shops At Uptown
Urban Retail ® For Lease
NW 24th & Westover, Portland, Oregon
Uptown Shopping Center, Oregon’s First Shopping Center, is 100% leased and
is now offering brand new ground floor retail spaces adjacent at The Westerly,
a 14-story high-end residential community (www.thewesterly.com). These new
urban street-front suites have not previously been offered for lease and are now
part of Uptown Shopping Center sharing parking, identification and customers.
These six new spaces feature brick, stone, steel and glass exteriors with high
volume transom windows (operating), and dramatic open ceilings (some
reaching over 20´ ).
Ranging in size from 555 sf to 1,510 sf, these spaces are ideal for specialty
retail, office and food service. The 1,510 sf suite can be enlarged and would
make a spectacular restaurant/bar with high ceilings, extensive storefront and
room for outdoor dining.
As part of Uptown Shopping Center, the Westerly Shops benefit from anchors
such as Zupan’s Market, Pharmaca and Chico’s. New enhanced landscaping has
been added and there are more than 266 on-site parking stalls.
The Westerly Shops and residential tower are LEED certified and emphasize
state-of-the-art strategies for sustainability.

The West Burnside-Couch Couplet
Portland Commissioner (and Mayor-elect) Sam Adams’ plan for
West Burnside and Northwest Couch streets calls for making each
one way and adding a streetcar line as a way to improve traffic flow
and urban design.
