PIA NURSERY FEE SCHEDULE 2014 – 2015 The Phuket International Academy Nursery is a programme for children aged 18 months to three years old. The Nursery programme starts at 08.00 a.m. and the morning session finishes at noon, after the children have had their lunch. If children stay for the full day, they can be collected at 2.30 p.m. APPLICATION PROCESSING FEE The application processing fee for the 2014/15 School Year is THB 5,000. This fee is payable when an application is submitted to the Admissions Office. SECURITY DEPOSIT (Refundable) The refundable security deposit fee is THB 50,000, with an additional security fee of THB 50,000 payable upon entrance to PYP one. CAPITAL LEVY (Non- refundable) The non-refundable capital levy is THB 65,000 for those families who begin in Nursery. EDUCATION OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM (EOTC FEE) This non-refundable fee contributes to the costs associated with sponsoring off-campus trips, which, under school policy, are part of the regular curriculum of the school. This is not an optional payment. LUNCH AND SNACKS Nutritious lunches and snacks are provided for all children, using largely organic produce. This cost is already included in the Nursery fee. Parents are also required to complete a Nursery Observation Form from Admissions for the child to spend half a day in the Nursery before being accepted into the programme. Decisions on increasing the child’s days at school will be dependent on his/her readiness, as determined by the classroom teacher. • If at any time parents would like to change the day(s) of attendance, please let the Head of Nursery, Ms. Amy, at [email protected], and Admissions Manager, Fawn, at [email protected] know and an assessment will be made as soon as possible. • Extended sessions or extra days are available on request as below details: Extra day: THB 1,200 and extra half day: THB 600 OVERDUE PAYMENTS Interest charges for late payment are as follows: • Failure to pay due fees will result in families being asked to keep their children at home until outstanding fees have been paid. • Interest at 5% is charged on the outstanding balance at 30 days overdue.
