S4 continuous flow dryers
PURPOSE
S4 type dryers are designed for drying all types of cereal grain, maize, as well as leguminous and oil seed
plants. Thanks to high capacities they can reach, these dryers can be used in large farms, agriculture
And food-processing industry. The possibility of precise parameter setting guarantees low consumption of
electrical power and fuel.
PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION
During drying in the continuous dryer, the loading, drying, cooling and unloading of grain takes place
simultaneously. The grain is top-loaded to the dryer and during the drying process it gradually moves
downwards. The lower chamber levels are designed to cool the grain. When the grain passes all the drying and
cooling levels, it is transported to the discharge device.

EXHAUST FANS
In the .W basic version of the dryer the hot air is drawn in using exhaust fans. The number
of fans depends on the dryer column size. The exhaust fans ensure passing the hot air
through the grain layer evenly.
Insulated hot air channel reduces heat loss and thus is reducing the cost of drying.
Heating of air supplied to the dryer may be carried out directly by placing the linear gas
burner in the burner channel or indirectly in the heater with a heat exchanger provided with
gas or oil burner.

CENTRO SEPARATOR— DRYING ALMOST WITHOUT DUST
The .CS version of the dryer is equipped with the centro separator, instead of exhaust fans,
that is designed to extract the hot air and clean the air that is going out of a dryer from dust.
This dryer version reduces the dust levels in the air during the drying process.
Centroseparator significantly reduces noise during the drying process.
Insulated hot air channel reduces heat loss and thus is reducing the cost of drying.
Heating of air supplied to the dryer may be carried out directly by placing the linear gas
burner in the burner channel or indirectly in the heater with a heat exchanger provided with
gas or oil burner.

Version .CSRE
CIRCULATING AIR—FUEL SAVINGS OF UP TO 30%.
The .CSRE version of the dryer (with recuperation) is equipped with a dust
reducing centro separator and a system allowing reverting a part of the heated
air after it passes through the grain, using canals, back to the heated air
chamber, where it is mixed with the heated clean air from outside. It then once
again passes through the grain.
In this version of the dryer almost the entire column of the dryer is insulated,
which reduces heat losses to a minimum and allows fuel savings of up to 30%.
Heating of air supplied to the dryer may be carried out directly by placing the
linear gas burner in the burner channel.
