Accordingly, please find attached one (1) Notification Form relating to the issue ofthree (3) buoy Mooring Authorities that are to be issued under the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Regulation 2004 s.209. These are listed with the blue notification form. I have grouped all moorings located in close proximity to each other on two (2) maps. Each of the attached maps relate to a specific area. In considering the above new applications for buoy mooring authorities, Maritime Safety Queensland invites your comments before granting approval of the authorities. The approval, if granted, will permit the following activity to happen: Nature of activity A mooring block/weight is to be located on the seabed with a floating buoy attached to it by a chain, rope or combination of both. The chain and/or rope is used to secure a vessel to the mooring block. This enables the vessel to remain at a specified site when not in use. Location of Activity As per the attached list.
