Orca Survey Builder OVERVIEW The Orca Survey Builder course is designed to teach navigators how to configure an Orca system to interface with all on-board and in-water sensors and systems, create and configure a new survey, and then test and verify all incoming and outgoing data and triggers. DURATION & LOCATION The Orca Survey Builder course is 5 days in duration. Training typically commences at 9:30am and ends at 5pm each day. Alternate training times may be agreed with the trainer in some circumstances. The course is primarily delivered at Concept Systems’ training facility in Edinburgh, but it may be delivered at other locations on request. PREREQUISITES Candidates should be able to: Use Orca for the acquisition of 2D or 3D seismic data Use Linux commands to navigate the file system, list directory contents and read files TEACHING METHODS The Orca Survey Builder course is a mixture of practical exercises and short presentations.
