PRESS RELEASE: 4 December 2014 POLLET WATER GROUP TAKES OVER ALAMO IN POLAND WAREGEM – The Belgian Pollet Water Group announces the takeover of Alamo, market leader in domestic water treatment in Poland. Today, PWG is the number 1 in the market segment in Western Europe. Thanks to the takeover, PWG reinforces its position and becomes an important player in Central and Eastern Europe. About Pollet Water Group Pollet Water Group, with a turnover of 150 million euro, already took over Watertec at the beginning of this year. Together with the acquisition of the Polish company Alamo, the group increases its turnover with another 10 million euro. PWG became big in the assembly and distribution of water treatment products for the domestic market, such as water softeners and components. These past years, the company expanded its activities with applications in the industrial market, health care and environmental business. With the takeover of Alamo, the family-owned group now counts 25 companies worldwide all active in Water Treatment. Pollet Water Group employs 770 people and is part of the Pollet Group. About Alamo Alamo, close to Warsaw, was created in 1993. Alamo is market leader in the niche of domestic water treatment in Poland. General Manager, Mrs. Ewa Jurska, will be responsible for the further growth of Alamo. Alamo mainly sells components in B-to-B and has a strong export market to Central and Eastern Europe.
