Power Processing Unit (PPU) for 5kW Hall Effect Thrusters
The Power Processing Unit provides power and control for Hall Effect Thruster used as in-space propulsion systems
for station keeping or orbit rising maneuvers. It’s modularity allows to introduce optional thruster switch unit in order to
drive two thrusters in cold redundancy, and an internal filter unit, if the PPU is placed close to the thruster. It has been
designed for ALTA HT-5k Hall Effect Thrusters, but can be easily customized to drive and control Hall Effects Thrusters
from other suppliers.
