NATURE CONSORTIUM 2013 Annual Report At Nature Consortium, our mission is simple. We connect people, arts, and nature. From the classroom to the field, we create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate their creativity, nurture local habitat, and become leaders in their communities. Nature Consortium’s Urban Forest Restoration Program is committed to restoring habitat in Seattle’s largest remaining forest, the West Duwamish Greenbelt. All year round, we engage volunteers of all ages in hands-on environmental learning to build healthy communities and ecosystems from the ground up. Our classes foster discovery and creativity while connecting youth with the natural world in their neighborhoods and beyond.
