2014 FATHER ROBINSON
MAGAZINE FUNDRAISER
The Annual QSP Magazine Sale is Father Robinson’s
biggest fundraiser. Thank you to those who have
supported us in the past. Funds raised last year were
used to help buy NetBooks for our portable computer lab.
We hope everyone will consider supporting this year’s
campaign to help make it another great success!
Hundreds of popular magazine subscriptions can be easily
purchased or renewed through our students.
The focus of this year’s magazine sale is literacy.
Magazines are a great way to encourage our children to
read. Consider letting your children choose a magazine
that interests them. Try keeping magazines in the car for
on-the-go reading.
Prefer digital magazines? QSP offers over many digital
subscriptions for you to choose from, some come as a
bonus to a paper subscription.
If you haven’t done online ordering in the past, please try
it this year - it’s safe and easy. Consider helping family
members who may not be familiar with online ordering.
How to Order Online?
*It is recommended you register your children on the QSP
website. They will each be assigned a Student Online
ID# you will be able to track their online sales with this ID.
*Provide the link to www.qsp.ca and either the student’s
online ID# or our school’s group online ID: 3731643 (or
both) in emails you send to family and friends.
Still Prefer to do Paper Orders?
No problem! We will continue to accept paper orders.
*Paper order forms can be found inside the catalogue.
*Extra forms can be picked at the office.
*Payments can be made by credit card or cheque (payable
to Father Robinson Parent Association.)
REMEMBER:
Paper orders will counts for SINGLE POINTS towards
prizes for entire campaign
(only online orders count as DOUBLE)

Thurs Oct. 9th - Thurs Oct. 23rd, 2014
Collection days: Friday October 17th & Thurs Oct 23rd, (all
orders need to be turned in by Oct 23rd.)

A few benefits of online ordering:
*orders are processed immediately (you can receive your
magazines up to 3 weeks earlier)
*you save the $1 processing fee that is charged on paper
orders.
*online orders are very easy for our parent volunteers to
process; we’d like to make their job as easy as possible 
**NEW THIS YEAR** All online orders
count as DOUBLE POINTS towards prizes for
entire campaign!
What About the Prizes??
At the end of the campaign, students use the points they
earn from selling magazines to select a fun prize from the
QSP Pick-A-Prize Chart (enclosed in QSP envelope)
IMPORTANT: Late orders will be accepted but will not
qualify for prizes. Make sure to complete your online
orders and to return your paper orders by Thursday
October 23rd so you don’t miss out on prizes!
Loads of Extra Door Prizes!!
Every sale helps our school! This year every student who
sells at least 1 magazine order will be entered in a draw
for one of several Scholastic gift bags.
Draws will be held each week for orders turned in that
week. Everyone who sells has a chance to win!
Top Seller Prizes Too!!
The 3 top-selling students from our school will also win an
additional FANTASTIC Prize! Stop by the school show
case for more details.
Other Incentive Prizes!
*additional mini-prizes are available for selling certain
magazines. Refer to the last 2 pages of the QSP
Catalogue for more details.
4) What is the photo book?
Although Father Robinson is focusing our fundraiser on
selling magazines, QSP is offering an option to sell
photobooks. Additional information can be found in the
“To Remember This” brochure in the student envelopes.

1) Where can we get more order forms?
5) What are the QSP Business Cards?
Additional paper order forms are available in the main
office.
QSP Business cards (with website information and the
school code) are available. Most students find that they
are unnecessary, but if you would like to hand out cards to
potential customers they are available at the school office.
2) Will other magazine coupon offers be accepted?
Sometimes customers ask if we can price match other
magazine coupon offers. Unfortunately it is no longer
QPS’s policy to accept other subscription coupons. QSP’s
rates are usually very similar (or cheaper) than most offers
out there. Since this is a fundraiser for the school, most
customers are happy to renew through the school even if
they may have been mailed a coupon for slightly less.

3) Do I need to register my child online?
If you pre-register your child on the QSP web site they will
be assigned a Student online ID number. Parents can
use this ID number to log into the QSP website and track
their online sales. Customers can use this ID to log into
the shopping pages with fewer steps.
If you do not pre-register, customers just need to enter
the school’s Group Online ID: 3731643. (If customers do
not remember the school ID, they can click on “Find my
Group” and enter “Father Robinson School” into the
search). When prompted, enter the student’s first and last
name.
If not pre-registered, students will get still get prize credits
for all their sales (you just won’t be able to view their sales
history).
