RBS Real Estate Asset Management (RBS) today announces the appointment of outlet specialist Realm as asset managers of The Outlet, RBS’ 204,000 sqft scheme at Banbridge in Northern Ireland. RBS has appointed Realm on all property, leasing and asset management issues, and will work alongside Realm to deliver revised masterplan proposals aimed at revitalising and repositioning the scheme in Northern Ireland’s retail market. A planning application is currently being considered by the local authority for the development of an eight screen cinema and new restaurant and leisure space. A new 60,000sqft Tesco superstore is also due to open opposite the centre which will drive significant additional footfall.
