RHB will be having an upcoming campaign in mid June 2014 to refresh customer awareness on the RHB On-The-Spot (OTS) Redemption facility available at participating merchants, including Secret Recipe. In view of the above, all outlets are advised to provide a refresher brief/training to outlet staff of the RHB OTS Redemption process. Mechanics: Customers who use their RHB Credit Cards are able to utilize and redeem their RHB Rewards Points stored in their credit card to pay for their meals / purchases/ takeaways. TERMS & CONDITIONS: Transaction and process to charge are treated as a usual sale value transaction. The points used for redemption will appear in the receipt and balance points available in customers receipt copy. In event reward points available in card is not sufficient to pay the total bill, the balance will be payable by customer via the same RHB Card. All rewards points redeemed by customers at Secret Recipe will be converted to sales amount which will be claimed back from RHB Bank. Thus the Rewards Points are treated as good as cash/sales to outlets. Customers are NOT allowed to choose the number of points they want to redeem. The available points will be maximized to pay for total bill to RM. The balance after deduction from points available “amount” and/or cents will be charged through the RHB card to settle the total bill. No cost incurred to outlets except as per sales terminal usage charge. Settlements / payments back to outlets from RHB will be as per credit card transactions procedures. Operations: To assist staff to familiarize and to perform the RHB OTS Redemption process on the Credit Card Terminal, please find attached a Step-By-Step Function Process Guide (Attachment B – RHB OTS Redemption Terminal Guide).
