Examination Key Dates/Timings: Preparation for Working Life (Level 1/2) AQA—Exam (80%) Friday 9th May 8.45am warm up session and prior to exam in B4 at 8.10-8.40 on the day. Preparation for Working Life (Level 1/2) AQA— Controlled Assessment (20%) This is a CV (5%), Letter of application (5%) and Interview preparation (generic and specific each 5% of total mark) Exam length: 1 hour 30 minutes Useful website: Topics: Personal awareness/healthy living/relationships and the differences between people/the changing world of work/financial awareness/ employment/enterprise activities/hazard identification at home and work. Revision Tips: Use the revision book given and past papers online at: www.aqa.org.uk. Attend the revision session offered by your teacher Miss Buckler. Read the question and highlight key words. Test yourself on the key words using a past paper—the same questions come up each year. How to answer long answer exam questions: READ THE QUESTION CAREFULLY AND FOR THE LONG ANSWER QUESTIONS AT THE END OF THE PAPER WRITE IN ENOUGH DETAIL TO GAIN THE 9 MARKS PEE! give an example/evidence and explain for every point you make. Look at how many marks the question is this will give you an idea as to how many points to explain.
