From urban interface to the most remote mountainous wilderness
areas, ATS has the data retrieval solution for your project.
The RDP 1000 communication module interfaces easily with any
ATS R45XX Series Receiver/Datalogger. It allows you to have data
transmitted from your receiver/datalogger back to your office via
the Iridium satellite. Multiple remote sites may be conveniently
accessed and viewed via daily emails or a drop box folder.

All the necessary connection hardware, antennas, and software
are included. An optional solar panel kit is available from ATS for
remote continuous power supply applications. A 12 volt DC power
supply and environmental enclosure is user supplied.
The commercial Iridium satellite in tandem with RUDIC's data
handling service is used for data communications. There is no need
for repeaters. A view to the southern sky and an Iridium airtime
account are all that are required.

• The supplied RDP Controller software is used during installation and allows you to monitor
data communication between your R45XX Receiver and the RDP 1000. The RDP enclosure should
be mounted vertically so the integrated Iridium antenna is facing the sky.

• By selecting "Ext Data' in the R4500's Stationary menu, data downloads from the R45XX
Receiver will automatically occur every hour, are stored in the RDP's on-board memory, and
then uplinked to the Iridium satellite by the RDP. A data handling service called RUDIC's is used
to forward data to an ATS server. Your data is then available to you via dropbox and/or email.
