CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Welcome all to the Steve Woodcock Sports Centre and on behalf of the committee of the Club I
welcome all members, players and officials of Blue Eagles to Newton for this Round 1 National Premier
League Grand Final Rematch.
This afternoon’s match against Blue Eagles will be a tough game as always and especially that both
clubs have had some changes since the grand final over the summer .I’m sure that today’s game will be
a great contest and are both eager to grab an advantage for season 2014.
Season 2013 was an unbelievable year and one that must not be forgotten, but we must consolidate our
status to be the number one club and continue to play to our best ability in season 2014 as every game
will be a challenge starting with today.
I take this opportunity now to welcome all our new players and coaching staff that we have added to our
squad and in particular all the Under 18’s and Reserves that have come through our juniors to play in
our senior squads, well done to Michael Matricciani in identifying all the many talents that are
developing in our Juniors.
I now wish to acknowledge our new and existing club sponsors Climate Air Control, Paradise Motors,
LJ Hooker Commercial –Adelaide, Rezz, Top Corner Sports, Jetset Glynde, Olympic Industries, Café
Da Mitolo. All these sponsors make up our senior sponsorship family and have been very generous in
their support of the club. We thank them sincerely and hope for a long relationship. I would also like to

Felixstow a big thankyou for your continued support.
Also a big thankyou to all other sign sponsors who every year continue to support the club .To Italo
Zannata and Julie Ciccocioppo I wish to pass on the club’s thanks for your great work in securing all of
these fantastic companies in sponsoring the club ,well done to you both.
Well done and thanks must go to Ugo Fantasia and his Sports Committee for successfully getting the
teams ready with all things required for the season. Ugo has put in overtime in what is required for team
support so thanks to you Ugo well done.
As usual at home games we offer all spectators some fantastic treats and drinks up on the hill served
proudly from our “Peter Lombardi Bar”. I thank sincerely all committee members and officials who
together with our fantastic canteen team provide fantastic services to all spectators. Their efforts need to
be recognised as creating a fantastic culture for Campbelltown City home games and something all
members can be very proud of. Well done to all.
Also I wish to sincerely thank all members of the club who perform fantastic duties throughout the week
in readiness for all junior and senior games every weekend. Special mention should be made to all our
volunteers and committee members who have been working overtime. And in particular the members of
the Junior Committee, Paul Centofanti, Angelo Maio, Linda Carpinelli, Vito D’Appolonio, and Sharee
McNamara for all their efforts this year in getting our juniors prepared for season 2014.
I look forward to seeing you all after the senior game upstairs to round off the day and extend our
invitation to all Blue Eagles Players and officials for a meal.

SPORTS DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Welcome to all players, members and supporters of Campbelltown and Blue Eagles for
Round 1of the 2014 NPL season at the Steve Woodcock Complex
Congratulations to Joe Mullen and his coaching staff Joe Lagana, Earl Pudler and Eddie
Scalzi. 2013 was a fantastic season capped by winning the grand final in the club's 50th
year.
The grand final was your typical derby against Blue Eagles, hard and tough.
Congratulations to our senior squad led by Vas Parhas, who came through that night
with Michael Matricciani and Oliver Totani scoring the winning goal.
This season will see some new faces at the club, we welcome to the club Ben Moore,
Tony Hatzis, Rhys Townsend, Luigi Ditroia, Mark Graham, Scott Weidenbach and
Lewis Farquhar which all bring a wealth of experience to our senior squad with the
retirement of Les Pogliacomi and Michael Menechella.
Also without Calvin Mbarga, Angelo Arambatzis, Shannon Claridge, Peter Tirimmaco
and Frank Marafioti who are all moving to other clubs.
To the Adelaide Youth Boys who are staying with academy, we wish them all
the best for the future and hope to see them back playing at Campbelltown
one day.
Welcome back Earl Pudler as coach of our reserves this year. Earl did a great job with the
team last year making the final series and cup quarter finals.
We also welcome Mauro Demarco as coach of the U/18's this year. Mauro will be
coaching a group of very young players this year, which we hope will be the future of the
club.
Congratulations to this year’s captains Vas Parhas (Seniors) Sebastian Isabel (Reserves)
and Adrian Guerrera (U/18s)
To all coaches, players and coaching staff we wish you all the best today and for the 2014

JUNIOR DIRECTOR’S REPORT
On behalf of the Campbelltown City Soccer Club’s Juniors Committee I welcome all players, player
families, officials, sponsors and members to the 2014 season. From a junior’s perspective, this season
promises to be another fulfilling and entertaining year for players and supporters alike.
With our main objectives supporting the overall goal of providing each and every player with
opportunities to develop sustainable soccer and social skills in a safe and friendly environment, we feel
that we are well on our way!!
The Club’s Junior Soccer Development Program, undoubtedly considered one of the best in SA,
continues to flourish under the expert guidance of our Junior Development Officer, Michael Matricciani,
our tremendous coaching staff as well as the support of our hard working Junior Committee. Our
development philosophy, aligned with the FFA national curriculum, employs a systems approach to
educating players on the benefits of playing as a team, all the while developing the individual’s overall
awareness of the strategies and tactics of the game.
Our program’s success to date has been evidenced by the increasing number of CCSC junior players
selected to trial in various FFSA development pathway teams, highlighting the recognition from our
state peak body of the quality of players we are producing. In addition, the generally high quality of
play amongst all our age groups is a testament to the cohesive bond formed amongst our qualified
coaching staff who ‘speak the same language’ when it comes to all things player development.
As with the outcomes in our technical area, we are equally excited with the growth of our social aspect.
As mentioned earlier, we believe the true value in the social area comes from providing children (and
adults) opportunities to explore the art of developing and enjoying relationships. As parents there is
nothing more satisfying than watching our children enjoy their new and long standing friendships both
on and off the soccer pitch – whether it is watching them celebrate their successes together on the pitch
or sharing in a kick-about with friends on Pitch 2 after Friday night training.
During season 2014, the CCSC will continue to run its very popular Friday pizza nights in the Junior
Clubrooms. All members and non members are very welcome to come and enjoy some great food and
drinks in a relaxing environment that provides a perfect entry into the weekend. The kids have plenty of
room to play too!!! In addition, the Sunday match day canteen/ bar will be open and a number of fun
social events will be conducted throughout the year. As always, any volunteer support will be greatly
appreciated.
To our highly valued Juniors sponsors, Climat, Paradise Motors, Tradelink, Chemist King, McDonalds,

Finally, I encourage all Juniors to watch and support our Senior team as it provides a real life insight
