Bedding will be available upon arrival at World Beef Expo. Exhibitors are responsible for their own bedding for tie-outs. All exhibitors are expected to familiarize themselves with the General Rules & Regulations. Rules have been revised for the 2014 World Beef Expo. Rules Specific to the Angus Roll of Victory (ROV) Show 1. All Angus ROV exhibitors are required to read and understand the Open Angus Participation Statement. By submitting an application for entry, it is implied that you agree to the rules and regulations listed within. 2. Any class that exceeds fifteen (15) head will be broken into smaller subclasses. This will be accomplished by dividing the classes as evenly as possible without splitting animals with the same birth date. Breaks in classes will be at the discretion of the American Angus Association staff in attendance and with the assistance of the breed representative. 3. Angus check in and rules for registrations will follow guidelines established for the American Angus Association as outlined in its premium participation statement. Total premium amount will be based upon the number of paid entries. Sponsored by the American Angus Association. Individual premiums will be determined after World Beef Expo and paid by November 3 0 , 2014. COW/CALF PAIRS Any female that qualifies for female classes in the Association’s standard classifications is not eligible to show in a cow/calf class. However, the calf at the side of the cow is eligible to show in its respective class. Class 1 Cow/Calf Class – Three (3) years of age or younger. Cow born January 1, 2011 - August 31, 2012. Calf must be the cow’s most recent natural calf and may not exceed 280 days of age on day of show. 2 Cow/Calf Class – Four (4) years of age or older. Cow born December 31, 2010 and earlier. Calf must be the cow’s most recent natural calf and may not exceed 280 days of age on day of show. GRAND CHAMPION COW/CALF PAIR RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION COW/CALF PAIR Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Cow/Calf Pairs do not compete for Champion Heifer. Class 54 Junior Get-of-Sire Three animals, born May of previous year or later, by one sire, both sexes represented 55 Get-of-Sire Four animals by one sire, both sexes represented 56 Breeder’s Six Head The exhibitor of the breeder’s six head must be breeder and first owner, identified by the same member code for the animals exhibited. Cattle owned by other exhibitors may be included, provided the exhibitor of the breeder’s six head is the breeder and first owner of the included animal(s). Animals must be exhibited in individual classes. Cattle bred and owned by a junior member may be included if the exhibitor of the breeder’s six head is an individual or married couple and is the parent or legal guardian of the junior member. All Angus ROV exhibitors are required to read and understand the Open Angus Participation Statement.
