Cairo Innovates - 1st Cairo International
Exhibition of Science, Research, and
Innovation aims to stimulate scientific
innovation in Egypt through creating a
hub that excites people about science
and research, connects innovators to
enablers and key stakeholders, and allows
local
innovators
to
exhibit
and
commercialize their inventions. Cairo
Innovates will be held on November 19-20,
2014, at The Greek Campus, Cairo, Egypt,
and is organized by A c a d e m y of
Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT) in
cooperation and Nahdet El Mahrousa
Gathering innovators, inventors, entrepreneurs, investors, banks, civil society
representatives, and media under one roof to create enthusiasm around science and
innovation and shed a light on local, regional, and international business opportunities.
Cairo Innovates gives an opportunity to promising young innovators or scientists to
share creative ideas among each other and also to provide excellent exposure of
the latest inventions and cutting edge technologies across various sectors. Cairo
Innovates 2014 will also provide an excellent opportunity to seam the gap between
research, innovation and industry.
The two days event includes sessions, workshops, competitions, panels, and inspiring
stories of rising talents. Cairo Innovates includes an exhibition of the latest inventions
and innovations, an interactive “Makers Campus”, and a “Junior Scientist” area with
a special focus on stimulating the culture of innovation to increase the country’s
productivity and competitiveness, and reducing poverty and inequality.
