Description
Rincon Research’s 2nd Generation DSPBrik™ L-Band Software Radio (DLSR2) family of products
are L-Band based digitizers and sub-band tuner (SBT) software radios. The DLSR2 allows you to
view the full 800MHz L-Band with up to a 1 Sec (2 GB) snapshot and provides streaming SBT
outputs via 10 gigabit Ethernet output(s). Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) downconverters can
be used to block downconvert bands of interest for input to the DLSR2 unit.
The analog input is filtered and directly digitized by the X6A1250 DSPBrikII A/D card using
Nyquist sampling techniques. The DLSR2 only requires a 10MHz timing reference input to
coherently digitize L-Band at 1800MHz. With 1PPS and IRIG-B timing input signals, the DLSR2
provides precise time-tagged outputs of the wideband snapshot and sub-band tuned data. The
wideband snapshot provides the ability to view the entire 800MHz input signal environment. Up to
eight Ten (10) Gigabit Ethernet outputs provide ease of data transport and integration into
processing systems. Command and control via 10/100/1000 Ethernet provides complete remote
operation.
