hear that the French have their laws, the Swedish have a zero risk strategy, that the Germans have their pool professionals, but nobody knows
exactly. Often it is not enough time to talk about the basic problems of

invited to speak about their targets, their national preconditions and
about the problems sometimes occurring during the discussions in the
working groups. The event language is English.

INFORMATION MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Force majeure
Cases of force majeure that prevent the DGfdB from fulfilling their duties in full or in part release
the DGfdB from fulfilling their contractual obligations until the causes of force majeure have
been removed. The DGfdB and the congress organisation EMENDO shall inform the participants of the DGfdB congress immediately unless they are already impeded by a case of force
majeure. The impossibility of a sufficient supply of auxiliary materials such as electricity,
heating etc. as well as strikes and lockouts will be regarded as tantamount to a case of force
majeure – unless they only last for a short period or were caused by the organiser.
Domiciliary right
The DGfdB and the employees contracted by them exercise householder’s rights. Their
instructions must be followed. Additionally, house rules and user regulations apply, which
can be found hanging up on the exhibition site. The house rules can also be found online at
www.messe-stutt gart.de/teilnehmerbedingungen. They can be downloaded and printed
there.
Applicable law, place of fulfilment, jurisdiction
For the whole legal relationship between DGfdB, their attendants, vicarious and performing
agents and participants, the law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall solely apply. The
German version of conditions of participation and house rules in relation to the English version
for the interpretation of differences, is solely authoritative. The place of fulfilment is Stuttgart,
Germany. The place of jurisdiction (also for check and bill of exchange suits) is the district
court of Stuttgart or the regional court of Stuttgart for both contractual partners, as long as
the participant is a business owner, legal entity under public law or special fund under public
law or is without general national place of jurisdiction. The DGfdB reserves the right, however,
to initiate the legal steps also at the general place of jurisdiction of the participant.
Ancillary agreements, severability clause
Ancillary agreements are only legally binding if they are provided in writing and confirmed in
writing by the DGfdB. These conditions of participation and this contract remain/remains valid
even if individual regulations thereof are found to be invalid. The pertinent regulation is to
be replaced by one that comes closest to the originally intended commercial purpose.
