Leitung: Johannes Stecher DIE HOFKIRCHE Der Volksmund nennt sie die „Schwarzen Mander“, die 28 überlebensgroßen Bronzefiguren, welche das Grabmal Kaiser Maximilians I. flankieren. Die Innsbrucker Hofkirche zählt zu den bedeutendsten Denkmälern in Tirol und ist das großartigste aller Kaisergräber in Europa. Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Hofkirche: die Ebert-Orgel, die letzte Ruhestätte des Tiroler Freiheitshelden Andreas Hofer sowie die Silberne Kapelle. THE HOFKIRCHE In common parlance, they were known as the “black men” - the 28 larger-thanlife bronze figures, which surround the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I. The Court Church in Innsbruck is one of the most important historical monuments in Tyrol and is the most impressive of all imperial tombs in Europe. Other objects of interest, which can be found in the Court Church include: the Ebert Organ, the last resting place of freedom fighter Andreas Hofer, as well as the Silver Chapel. Johannes Stecher hat einen interessanten musikalischen Streifzug durch mehrere Jahrhunderte der Musikgeschichte zusammengestellt – das Programm umfasst u.a. Werke von Andreas Hammerschmidt, Lodovico da Viadana, Samuel Scheidt, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart und Arvo Pärt sowie eine Auswahl der schönsten Volkslieder aus Tirol und dem Alpenraum. ABOUT THE PROGRAMME This year sees the Wilten Boys’ Choir embarking on their sixth season of Court Church concerts. For years the concert series has enjoyed great popularity with locals and tourists alike – not least because of the fantastic atmosphere in the ‘Schwarzmanderkirche’. Johannes Stecher has put together an interesting musical journey through several centuries of music history – the programme including, amongst others, works by Andreas Hammerschmidt, Lodovico da Viadana, Samuel Scheidt, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Arvo Pärt, as well as a selection of the most beautiful folk songs from Tyrol and the Alpine region. IL PROGRAMMA Quest‘anno la serie di concerti del Coro di voci bianche “Wiltener Sängerknaben” è ormai giunta alla 6ª edizione. La rassegna concertistica riscuote da anni un grande successo sia tra gli abitanti di Innsbruck che tra i turisti, non da ultimo per la fantastica atmosfera del luogo che li ospita, ossia la Hofkirche nota anche come „chiesa degli uomini neri“. Johannes Stecher propone un interessante excursus musicale attraverso i secoli. Heute besteht der Chor aus ca. 170 Knaben- und jungen Männerstimmen, die in 5 Chören, zum Teil am Tiroler Landeskonservatorium, ausgebildet werden. Its tradition extends back to the 13th century, and shares the same roots with the Vienna Boys’ Choir. Today, the choir consists of approx. 170 boys and young men, who are trained in 5 choirs, partly in the Conservatorium of the country Tyrol. The Wiltener Boys Choir is distinguished by its fine intonation, its unique, radiant energy, and its vocal strength, which can be credited to Johannes Stecher, who developed this special singing technique. CORO DEI WILTENER SÄNGERKNABEN Il coro dei Wiltener Sängerknaben di Innsbruck è tra i più antichi cori di voci bianche d’Europa ed è considerato il più illustre del mondo in questa categoria. Vanta una lunga tradizione, che risale addirittura al XIII secolo. Le sue origini sono strettamente intrecciate con quelle dei Wiener Sängerknaben. Oggi il coro è composto da circa 170 tra voci bianche e giovani voci maschili, ripartite in cinque cori alcuni dei cui membri seguono corsi di formazione presso il Tiroler Landeskonservatorium. Il coro dei Wiltener Sängerknaben si distingue in particolare per la raffinatezza dell’intonazione, per il fascino e la straordinaria potenza delle voci, caratteristiche riconducibili a una speciale tecnica canora messa a punto da Johannes Stecher. Leur tradition remonte jusqu‘au 13ème siècle. Des racines communes les lient aux Wiener Sängerknaben (les Petits chanteurs de Vienne). Aujourd‘hui, le choeur se compose d‘environ 170 garçons et jeunes voix d‘homme formés dans 5 chorales, en partie au Conservatoire du Land du Tyrol. Les caractéristiques des Wiltener Sängerknaben sont l‘intonation délicate, l‘extraordinaire puissance de rayonnement et la portée des voix qui sont le résultat d‘une technique de chant spécialement développée par Johannes Stecher. JOHANNES STECHER Johannes Stecher studierte am Mozarteum Musik- und Instrumentalmusikerziehung sowie Gesangspädagogik und am Konservatorium des Landes Tirol Konzertfach Orgel. Er ist seit 1991 künstlerischer Leiter der Wiltener Sängerknaben. Von 1992 – 2010 leitete er die Musikschule Region Telfs und Umgebung, den Kammerchor und die Kulturinitiative Interregional Telfs mit ihren vier Sparten Musik, Wort, Bild und Spiel (Kinderveranstaltungen). Er ist Mitbegründer und Leiter des Barockorchester Academia Jacobus Stainer. MAG. JOHANNES STECHER Johannes Stecher studied Music Education, Instrumental Education and Voice Coaching at the Mozarteum, and Organ Performance at the Tyrolean State Conservatory. Since 1991 he has been artistic director of the Wilten Boys’ Choir. From 1992 – 2010 he was director of the Telfs and District Music School, the Telfs Chamber Choir and the Telfs Interregional Culture Initiative with its four branches of music, word, picture and playing (children’s events). He is the co-founder and leader of the Baroque Orchestra Academia Jacobus Stainer. MAG. JOHANNES STECHER Johannes Stecher ha studiato pedagogia del canto ed educazione musicale e strumentale presso il Mozarteum. Inoltre, ha seguito un corso di perfezionamento in organo indirizzo concertistico presso il Conservatorio regionale tirolese. Dal 1991 è Direttore Artistico dei Piccoli Cantori di Wilten. Dal 1992 al 2010 ha diretto la scuola musicale della regione di Telfs e dintorni, il coro da camera e l‘iniziativa culturale interregionale di Telfs nei suoi quattro indirizzi: musica, parole, immagini e giochi (manifestazioni per bambini). È cofondatore e direttore dell‘orchestra barocca „Academia Jacobus Stainer“. JOHANNES STECHER Johannes Stecher a étudié la pédagogie de la musique et de la musique instrumentale et vocale à l’université Mozarteum, puis l’orgue de concert au conservatoire du Land du Tyrol. Il est le directeur artistique des Wiltener Sängerknaben depuis 1991. Entre 1992 et 2010, il a dirigé le conservatoire de musique de la région de Telfs, le chœur de chambre ainsi que le programme culturel « Interregional Telfs » dans ses quatre sections : musique, mot, image et jeu (manifestations pour enfants).
