The international standard IEC
61914:2009 specifies requirements and tests for cable cleats and
intermediate restraints used for securing cable in electrical installations.
This standard determines the test requirements made on a complete system of cables, cable cleats supported
on cable trays.

pruebas de sistemas de fijación de
cables y sistemas de retención intermedios utilizados para la fijación de
cables en instalaciones eléctricas.
Esta norma determina los requisitos

Products covered by this standard
are designed and constructed that,
when assembled and installed as
for normal use according to the
manufacturer’s instructions, they ensure securing of cables and shall not
cause damage to the cable.
The test is carried out at ambient
temperature using unarmoured single core 600 V / 1 000 V stranded
copper conductor cable.
