Footnotes
HARD TO STAY NOTGO stumbled at the start recovering to show the way shortly after while a bit eager and pulling on the bit, had the rider apply a light
hold to throttle down his charge while not taking too much to discourage her, shook away through the latter turn once settled comfortably on the pace, spun
just off the inside for home, got roused at the three-sixteenths and held clear to the wire kept busy. GOLDEN GEM bumped at the start mildly by SALUDA
as that foe broke outwards squeezing back NONNA JO, chased the pace three wide from mid pack, came under urging and advanced swinging two to three
wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick to cut into the winner's margin lightly while clear of the rest for the place honors. GRAEME CRACKERS
chased the pace inside in range early on, was forced to steady in tight along the rail as SONORA drifted slightly in and was mildly shuffled back, came
under urging at the five-sixteenths, cut the corner into upper stretch, angled off the fence at the three-sixteenths, offered a mild belated bid to garner the
show honors in the last jumps. SONORA fractious in the gate prior to the start, chased just off the inside just off the pace, came under urging three furlongs
out, spun three wide for home, made no headway. MY SUPER NOVA away well, chased the pace three wide in aim, angled four wide into upper stretch,
weakened in the drive. MAJESTIC JESSICA chased the pace four to five wide under encouragement from five-sixteenths out and made no headway on the
front while picking up some tired foes in the late stages. SALUDA broke out at the start bumping GOLDEN GEM and squeezing back NONNA JO, chased
four wide coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to run, swung five wide for home and tired in the drive. ENDURING TOUCH broke out at the
start shadowing SALUDA to her outside and filling the gap left by that rival, chased three wide until shifted to the two path with seven-sixteenths to run,
came under a ride midway on the turn, swung four wide into upper stretch and tired. NONNA JO squeezed back at the start due from mostly pressure from
SALUDA breaking outwards, chased three to four wide under a ride from three furlongs out, angled six wide for home and trailed throughout.
