Consequent upon their promotion, the officers shall remain on probation for a period of one
year extendable by order either before or after its termination by a further period not exceeding one
year, provided that if no orders have been made by the day following the termination of either of
aforementioned probation period, promotion will deem to be held until further orders.

The promotion posts will be reverted into original scale on retirement / dismissal / death /
promotion or leaving PARC of the incumbents.
