Business Associate Member Application Solar Installers of Washington (SIW) is a professional trade association established in October 2013 to be a unified voice for the common business interests of Washington-based solar installers, particularly related to public policy, legislation and regulation. SIW seeks to collaborate with allies and elected officials to significantly grow the solar industry within Washington. SIW educates legislators and regulators while promoting public understanding about the impacts of state policies on installers. SIW also represents the interests of solar installers in conversations with manufacturers, distributors, utilities, planners and allies. Associate Members are non-voting members including individuals and representatives from utilities, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, manufacturers, or businesses whose primary business is not solar but who support the goal of developing a strong sustainable solar industry in WA.
