The Village Happenings
Resident of the Month
Patsy Harper, lovingly called ”Pizza” by her grandchildren, was born in Sinton, Texas,
in 1932. She was the middle child of two sisters. During the 1940s, she traveled
extensively in the U.S. while her father worked as a pipeline superintendent. Patsy later
went on to marry her college sweetheart, Al, and they were married for 53 wonderful
years.
She has a very loving extended family that includes four daughters, seven grandchildren,
and eleven great-grandchildren. Patsy worked with kindergarten students fulltime and
was also a homemaker. She prepared excellent meals, kept a spotless house, and made it
all look easy. She is a superb seamstress, making most of her daughters’ clothes while
working fulltime.
Patsy loves attending musical activities, reading, dancing, and swimming. She loves the
cooler weather and vibrant foliage that fall brings. Her family describe Patsy as loving,
talented, and generous!
